A partner sent an email blaming me for a document not going out, copying half the office. Problem is, I had already sent it and had the timestamp to prove it. Instead of just admitting they missed it, they told me I should have “communicated more proactively.” So now apparently doing the task is not enough. I also have to prevent other people from not reading.
