Mission Statement Overtime
I work for a nonprofit that talks a lot about serving people with dignity, but internally the answer to every staffing problem is just ask the same tired team to push a little harder. If you question it, someone reminds you that the mission is bigger than any one person. That sounds noble until the mission somehow always means free overtime from the same five people.
