Healing Mission, Broken Payroll

I work for a nonprofit health organization that talks nonstop about caring for the community, but inside the building everyone is stretched thin and underpaid. Leadership loves words like mission and impact right up until somebody asks for a raise or enough staff to cover basic work. Apparently passion is supposed to make rent now.
