Budget Freeze, Pizza Party

Leadership told us budgets are tight, raises are unlikely, and we all need to be mindful of expenses. Then the same week they catered a leadership offsite, ordered branded swag, and told the rest of us to be excited about a pizza party. I know pizza is supposed to make this feel fun, but it mostly made the whole thing feel insulting.
