Bartender, Therapist, Babysitter
Some nights I feel less like a bartender and more like a combination of referee, therapist, and janitor. You listen to somebody cry about their ex, stop another guy from getting mouthy, wipe up a spill, smile for the next round, and somehow still get judged on whether you were “fun” enough. People think pouring drinks is the job. Dealing with everybody after the drinks is the job.
